I think one of the things I like about the hobby over other things I'm into like computer games is the communal aspect. By necessity you meet a lot of great people. I've been playing RPGs for years, but I've never played D&D. My husband is going to teach me how to play next year when he gets home from Iraq, because I've wanted to learn how to play ever since I was in high school.
